Expiration date definition
Expiration date is a date when Call or Put options expire. If you own a Call option
to buy say ABCD at $10/share, you have the right (but not obligation) to exercise
this option (and buy ABCD for $10/share) any
time until the Expiration date. After the Expiration date your call option no longer
gives you any rights and becomes worthless.
