Circuit Breakers definition

Circuit Breakers are trading halts or limiting trading that stock exchanges and other exchanges implement. Circuit Breakers are implemented when index falls by a certain percentage intraday. Circuit Breakers are implemented to basically cool things off and have trading resume at hopefully more orderly fashion.
